Terms of service

DealOS is a personal deal operating system: it helps you track bank-account and card bonuses, check eligibility, plan direct-deposit activity, and manage deadlines. DealOS is provided as an early beta. Features may change, pause, or disappear while we learn what works.

By using DealOS, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• Nothing on DealOS is financial, legal, or tax advice. Offers, values, and stacking suggestions are informational estimates. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on them.
• Community observations are reported observations, not guarantees. Direct-deposit datapoints are reader and community sourced: over five thousand observations reporting whether transfer methods worked or did not work, each with a provenance label. They are not official bank confirmation, and a method that worked for someone else can fail for you. Never open an account or move money based only on a community datapoint.
• Bank terms change without notice. Bonuses, requirements, and deadlines can be pulled or rewritten by the bank at any time, sometimes after we last checked. Always verify the official offer terms on the bank or issuer's page before you apply.

You may use DealOS if you are of legal age where you live and can form a binding agreement. You are responsible for making sure your use of DealOS complies with your local laws, and for any accounts, applications, or transactions you make with banks or issuers.

You may submit comments, direct-deposit reports, deal tips, feedback, and similar content. You keep ownership of what you submit, but you give DealOS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, moderate, and include it in aggregates and evidence views.

When you submit content, you agree that it will:

• be accurate to the best of your knowledge;
• not include personal or financial identifiers: no account numbers, logins, full names, addresses, or contact details, yours or anyone else's;
• not be spam, ads, referral-link farming, or bulk promotional content;
• not be unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing on someone else's rights.

DealOS reviews submissions before publication. We may edit for clarity, hold for review, or remove content that breaks these rules or that we cannot verify, without notice.

• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or re-publish DealOS data except through features we provide (like CSV export of your own data).
• Do not try to break, bypass, or overload the service: no reverse engineering, no automated abuse, no attempts to access data that is not yours.
• Do not impersonate others, misrepresent sources, or submit fabricated evidence.
• Do not use DealOS for anything unlawful, including fraud or opening accounts with false information.

DealOS is an early beta. We aim for a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uptime, and we may throttle, pause, or retire any feature (including beta connectors and community surfaces) with or without notice. Data you enter is yours to keep: export what matters to you, especially during the beta.

DealOS works with third parties: Plaid for bank connections, hosting and database providers, and publishers like Doctor of Credit and Frequent Miler whose offer content we link or import. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. DealOS is not responsible for what third parties do with your data once you use their services.

DealOS is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, DealOS and the people behind it are not liable for any loss from your use of the service, including missed bonuses, denied applications, account closures, fees, taxes, or decisions made based on community data or estimates. Some places do not allow these limits, so this section applies only to the extent the law allows.

You can stop using DealOS at any time. Because this beta uses a local placeholder profile rather than an account, there is no account to close: clear site data in your browser to remove everything stored on your device, and ask the DealOS team (via the feedback button) to remove any server-side feedback or contributions tied to you. We may restrict or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

We may update these terms as DealOS grows. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date; continuing to use DealOS after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms go to the DealOS team through the feedback button in the bottom-left corner of every page.
