What connecting shares, before you connect
- You sign in inside Plaid’s own window and pick which accounts to share. Your bank username and password are entered there, never in a DealOS form.
- DealOS requests Plaid’s Transactions product only: read access to transaction history for the accounts you picked. No money-movement products are requested through this connection.
- For each connection, DealOS reads the last 90 days of transactions: amount, date, description, and the account name. The matcher flags deposits that look payroll-like and ignores everything else.

Transaction data is only used for your own direct-deposit checks, never for advertising. Real bank connections are disabled in this preview, so everything here runs on sample transactions. No real bank is ever contacted.
