DealOS is a personal deal operating system in early beta. Here is exactly what it does, what it does not do, and what happens to the data you share.
What this beta is
A small public test of the DealOS read-only experience: the offers catalog, offer details, the direct-deposit planner and its evidence, compare, and next actions. The goal is to learn whether the data is trustworthy and the flows make sense, before anything more ambitious ships.
What DealOS does not do
- No bank connection is required. Real-bank connections are disabled in this beta.
- DealOS never asks for your bank login, and never stores bank logins or account numbers.
- No secret or sensitive financial data is ever sent from your browser.
- Your email is optional when you send feedback. You can report issues without giving any contact info.
What DealOS stores
- Offers you track, checklists and reminders you create (kept on your own device where the feature says so).
- Feedback you choose to submit: the category, your message, the page you were on, an optional email, and any context you attach (like an offer or deposit target).
- Anonymous usage counts: which pages were opened, with a random session id that cannot identify you.
Known limitations
- Offer data is reviewed before it appears, but it may be incomplete or out of date. Always verify terms on the official bank or card page before you apply.
- Direct-deposit evidence is reader and community sourced, and every datapoint carries a provenance label saying where it came from.
- DealOS is not a financial advisor. Nothing here is financial advice.
- This is an early beta. Some pages may be rough, and features may change or disappear as we learn.
How to report a problem
Every page has a feedback button in the bottom-left corner. Use the “Incorrect data” category for wrong offer or deposit data, or tap “Report incorrect data” wherever you see it next to an offer or planner target. Reports go to a private triage queue; they are never published.
